Herman Grothauss, w. (wife absent), goes to Confession and takes Holy Communion. On Jubilate. Frederick Co., Maryland.

Evangelical Lutheran Church, also known as Krauter's Church, Frederick County, Maryland, now Carroll Co., Md. (This is the last Grothaus entry, of any spelling, up to 1800). (Last record found on Herman/Harmon Greathouse, Sr. He probably died soon after this date.)
