1788, Oct 19 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Krothass (sic) [Grothass], wife, Mar. Magdl. take Holy Communion On the XXII Sunday after Trinity. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Westminster, Frederick County, Maryland, also known as Krauter's Church [ View @ Google Maps ] . All further entries for Holly Communion taken at the same church.

1789, May 3 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Grothauss, w. (wife absent), goes to Confession and takes Holy Communion. On Jubilate. Frederick Co., Maryland.

1790, Jun 13 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Mar. Magdl. Krothausin, (sic), H., (husband), sick. Went to Confession and took Holy Communion. On the II Sunday after Trinity. Frederick Co., Maryland.

1791, Jun 12 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Drothaus, (sic), takes Holy Communion after Confession. On the first Festival of Pentecost. Frederick Co., Maryland.

1791, Oct 9 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Grothauss, W., (wife), Mar. Magdl. take Holy Communion after Confession, on the XVI Sunday after Trinity. Frederick Co., Maryland.

1792, Oct 7 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Grothauss, and Mar. Madgl. Grothhausin, take holy Communion, following Confession. On the XVIII Sunday after Trinity. (Frederick County, Maryland).

1793, Oct 6 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Grothauss, Mar. Magdl. Grothausen, (not entered next to husband). On the XIX Sunday after Trinity. (This is the last record on Mary, so she probably died after this date and before the date when Herman is listed as a widower).

1794, Oct 12 - Communion: St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westminster

Herman Grothaus, wid., (widower), takes Holy Communion, following Confession. On the 17tn Sunday after Trinity. Evangelical Lutheran Church, also known as Krauter's Church, Frederick County, Maryland, now Carroll Co., Md. (This is the last Grothaus entry, of any spelling, up to 1800). (Last record found on Herman/Harmon Greathouse, Sr. He probably died soon after this date.)
